In the beginning of 2022 I interned at Tulika Books, a children's book publishing house based in Chennai, India. During my internship, I was given the responsibility of re-designing 'Many Colours of Us', a children's picture book about the many colours we see in nature, people and Indian culture. Each page was a new discovery, and getting to move around the illustrators existing artwork was a rewarding challenge. Each page of the book focused on a colour, and I used it to establish the colour palette of that page. I learnt how to tie elements together using simple shapes like waves of colour, and ended up with an extremely unified page.
