The Nanoscience cohort of 2026 approached me to design the visuals for their Nanosymposium 2025. With the theme “Building Tomorrow Atom by Atom,” I began by sketching atoms and structures, gradually shaping these into a complete visual identity for the event.
The goal was to make the theme feel fresh and accessible, so that even people without a science background could connect with it. Working within a set colour palette, I created posters, flyers, stickers, digital screens for the event, and a booklet with the full timetable and project details of each student.
The designs boosted sign-ups by 40% and drew in a broader audience than usual. During the event my presentation screens filled the spaces between talks, and the booklet became a go-to reference point for many visitors. It was a success and I’d love to do more projects like this in the future- contact me here if you’d like me to design for your event!
